Embrace Community is a weekday program for adults with disabilities in the Middle Tennessee region. Our goal is to enrich the lives of those impacted by disability by fostering community through recreational and leisure activities.

Fall 2023 Class Offerings

DATES:
Monday & Wednesday OR Tuesday & Thursday from September-December

TIME:
10:00AM–1:00PM

  • Music & Movement: During M&M, students will learn about different types of music, dance, and exercise.
  • Art: During this class, we will explore different forms of art, including photography, painting, and ceramics.
  • Social Club: For our social club class, participants will read and discuss current events.
  • Group Lunch: At the end of each day, all students will eat lunch together. Please bring a peanut-free packed lunch.

Who can attend?

Any adult (age 18+) with a disability who is looking to build community and learn new skills!

What is the cost of the program?

The program is free to all participants.

Where is the program hosted?

The program will be hosted at The Rowen Glenn Center at Brentwood Baptist Church.

What is your student-to-teacher ratio?

For safety and purposeful engagement of each of our students, we maintain a ratio of one teacher to five students.

Do you provide medical and/or behavioral supports for participants?
