We may not be called to foster or adopt,
but we are all called to care!

Our Foster and Adoption Ministry (FAM) walks with individuals, families, children, and organizations as we seek to care for children in need with the love of Jesus. Some of us will open our hearts and homes while others may provide aid and act as a support system. Regardless of where you may see your next steps, there is a place for you in the FAM.

If you are interested in learning more about FAM, please fill out this form.

OUR MISSION

To obey God’s call to care for orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children, and to connect with, equip, and walk alongside families in various stages of the adoption process or who provide foster or short-term care for children.

OUR VISION

We want every vulnerable child to experience Christ’s love through healthy family relationships.

WHO WE SERVE

We serve foster and adoptive families, vulnerable children, and birth families in the Middle Tennessee community.

How We Serve

CONNECT

We help existing and prospective foster and adoptive families find community.

EQUIP

We provide families with the resources they need.

WALK

We walk with families in their journey by providing WRAP Around Care.

Support

WRAP Ministry: WRAP is a tool that helps mobilize the church to reflect Jesus to children in hard places and the families who care for them. There are four primary ways our church seeks to serve these children and the families who have welcomed them into their homes:

Words of Encouragement

Text, call, and write letters of encouragement to families who are fostering children.

Respite Care

Give foster families respite through acts of babysitting, taking children out for playdates, and more.

Acts of Service

Providing meals, helping with housework, lawn care, and more.

Prayer

Spending time in intentional prayer for the family and all involved in the child’s life.

Donate

Across Middle Tennessee, there are roughly 8,000 children in the foster-care system. One way we can help is by supporting our local DCS offices and Tennessee Alliance offices to meet the physical needs of children and foster families. Use the links below to purchase items off of a gift list.
