The culmination of God’s plan to redeem and rescue His people is by the shedding of blood. The firstborn dies. Those, however, covered by the blood of spotless lambs, live. God’s way has always been to raise up one whom we don’t expect (Moses) to execute a plan we could never imagine (blood). This, of course, points to and culminates with the Person and Work of Jesus.
