Have you ever wanted to take a book of the Bible and explore it chapter by chapter, verse by verse? If so, then this is the group for you.
While structured enough to get us through a chapter in a timely fashion, my teaching style is also largely discussion based. This allows ample room for members to share stories, life events and insights with one another as the chapter progresses and the Spirit leads.
We are a community that welcomes folks of any age. We all have a story to tell, each different from our peers. By diversifying the generational makeup of the group, we have a unique opportunity to gain wisdom and understanding from life experiences and cultural events that our own generation either does not understand or did not get to experience.
Our goal is to build a community that does life with one another. In addition to our studies on Sundays, there will also be opportunities for fellowship outside of the classroom. There will also be opportunities to serve the community.
I believe in the power of prayer and in the importance of praying for one another. Each Sunday there will be a time for prayer requests and to pray together. There will also be multiple avenues through email, phone and social media (depending on everyone’s communication preferences) where we can share with each other prayer requests, life updates, fellowship and service opportunities.
