We’ll take our 21st journey to Chicago this summer as we partner with Reborn Community Church and work alongside Pastor Jamie Thompson in Garfield Park! Spots are limited to just 40 students. An application as well as deposit must be received to reserve a place on the trip!
COST & REGISTRATION
STUDENT COST: $600
Registration for our Chicago Mission Journey is done through Brentwood’s Focus Mission program. Cost includes transportation, lodging, fellowship activities, and all meals except those while traveling. All steps below must be completed for your student to attend.
*Please note: all money given to pay for your student’s trip is noted on the person’s giving year-end contribution statement.
**When registering make sure you select registration type as STUDENT so that the proper student questions generate on your application**
ADULTS
Are you an adult interested in leading students in Chicago? We have a limited number of adult spots on this year’s trip and are specifically in need of adults that feel comfortable driving a large passenger van to/from Chicago as well as around the city.
ADULT COST: $100
**When registering make sure you select registration type as ADULT so that the proper leader questions generate on your application**
STUDENT TRAINING
All online training is REQUIRED & 2 in-person trainings are REQUIRED. If a student can’t attend 2 sessions, students must talk to Abbie Johnson (all campuses).
– Training 1: JUNE 10 | ALL CAMPUSES @ the Brentwood Campus: 1:00-2:30 PM (Bring Your Own Lunch) | Hudson Hall
– Training 2: JULY 8 | ALL CAMPUSES @ the Brentwood Campus: 1:00 – 2:30PM (Bring Your Own Lunch) | Hudson Hall
REQUIRED ONLINE TRAINING: Emails will be sent to participants in the coming weeks.

We’ll go over important trip details, the week’s schedule, packing list, and more. Please make plans to join us!

REQUIRED FORMS
Please complete and turn in the following forms to the Student Ministry office no later than Friday, July 5th.
REQUIRED FOR EACH STUDENT or LEADER is required to attend. We’re in a new year, which means a new release form, and we’ve gone digital. Please complete the 2024 digital Medical Release Form & email a front/back copy of your insurance card. You can email copies of insurance cards to Anna Brackins at [email protected]. Please turn all required paperwork into the student ministry offices as soon as you can.
If your student has already attended a catalytic event in 2024, we should have it on file.

TO PAY REMAINING BALANCE:
If you need to pay your remaining balance, you will go to https://brentwood.gomethod.app/login and log into the GoMethod account you created when registering for Chicago. There you will see events you are registered for on GoMethod. Click on Chicago and there will be a button that says funding/ pay remaining balance. You will pay your remaining there. Let us know if you have any questions!
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you find you need to cancel, please notify Anna Brackins in the Student Ministry Office as soon as possible at 615-324-6126 or [email protected]. Before Friday, July 5, you will receive a full refund. After July 5, the deposit is non-refundable (except in circumstances such as the death of a family member or physical illness – including COVID). This is due to trip costs already incurred.
