Final Day Update – Heading Home Soon!
What an amazing week it has been on our 5th Grade Mission Journey (5MJ)!
Yesterday was another incredible day of serving. Our kids did an outstanding job at each of our ministry sites—Birth Choice, the Dream Center, and the Englewood Hotel. Throughout the day, we had to make a few schedule changes, but our 5th graders handled every change with flexibility, positive attitudes, and servant hearts. We couldn’t be more proud of the way they represented Christ all week long.
Before we wrap up our week, we have one more special evening of ministry. Tonight is our final Kids Club at both Hartland and Englewood, and we’ll host a Family Night to celebrate everything God has done this week with the children and their families.
We would love for you to pray specifically for tonight. Pray that many families will attend, that meaningful conversations about Jesus will take place, and that the seeds that have been planted throughout the week will continue to grow. Pray that our kids will finish the week strong as they love, serve, and share the hope of Christ one more time.
Tomorrow, we’ll wrap up an unforgettable week with a fun day together in Memphis! We’ll enjoy some incredible food, make a few more memories, and celebrate all that God has done through this mission journey before heading home.
We will send out a text message tomorrow to let everyone know when we are leaving Memphis and provide an updated estimated arrival time back home.
Thank you for trusting us with your kids this week and for covering us in prayer. We have watched these 5th graders grow in confidence, deepen friendships, serve others with joy, and take meaningful steps in their faith. Our prayer is that what God has started this week will continue long after we return home.

Day 3 Update
What an incredible week it has been on our 5th Grade Mission Journey (5MJ)!
Yesterday brought beautiful weather and another fantastic day of ministry. Our students once again did an amazing job serving at RIFA in Jackson. We were so proud of how they worked hard, served with joy, and represented Christ so well. It has been encouraging to watch our 5th graders step outside of themselves and put others first.
Last night, both Hartland and Englewood had another great evening of Kids Clubs. From games and crafts to building relationships with children and families, our students continue to show up with energy, compassion, and excitement. God is doing great things at both sites, and we are thankful to be a small part of what He is doing.
Today, our teams will continue serving throughout the Jackson community at Birth Choice, the Dream Center, and the Englewood Hotel. We are expecting another beautiful weather day and are looking forward to another exciting evening of Kids Clubs at both Hartland and Englewood.
Thank you for continuing to pray for our kids, leaders, and the families we are connecting with throughout the week. We are grateful for the opportunity to see these 5th graders grow in their faith while learning what it means to serve others and share the love of Jesus.

Day 1 Recap & Day 2 Preview
What a great start to our 5th Grade Mission Journey (5MJ)!
We started Day 1 with a little rain and ended with a little rain, but the weather never slowed us down. Both sites—Hartland and Englewood—had amazing nights of Kids Clubs, and our 5th graders did an incredible job serving, leading, and loving others. We are so proud of how our students jumped in with enthusiasm and flexibility. Despite the rain, they brought energy, smiles, and the love of Jesus to every child they encountered.
As we begin Day 2, our students are enjoying a fun morning together at the pool, building friendships and making memories. Later today, our teams will serve at RIFA (Regional Inter-Faith Association) in Jackson. RIFA is a ministry that serves individuals and families throughout West Tennessee by providing food assistance, meals, and support to those in need. We are excited for our students to experience what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving our community.
Tonight, we’ll head back to Hartland and Englewood for another exciting evening of Kids Clubs. Thank you for continuing to pray for our students, leaders, and the children and families we are meeting this week.
