Solomon’s Porch is a reference to Acts 5:12, the place at which the early church would gather to openly display their commitment to Jesus Christ and have dialogue one with another about their faith. This Life Group Solomon’s Porch, is an open and welcoming group of single young adults seeking to have Christian community; to study Scripture in discipleship and spiritual growth; and to endeavor to live a life honoring to God and each other.
We meet weekly on Sunday mornings at the Brentwood campus in room 2140C from 9:30-10:30 am. We have time set aside for both community and for Bible study. We strive to engage with one another outside of class as well during the week that may include regular game nights, group dinner outings, retreats, service, and outdoor activities as the weather permits. The leaders are Mardon and Richelle Day both of whom are committed to disciple and mentor younger Christ-followers equipping them to then engage the wider community.
