The Book of Mark
We typically study a book of the Bible, verse by verse, with emphasis on practical application.
Class style is a combination of lecture and class participation as together we seek to apply God’s truths to our lives. While our group averages 50-60 per week, we are highly connected and love doing life together. As leaders and members, we seek to be authentic and transparent as we learn to walk in God's grace and then give that to others we encounter during the week.
We have regular class parties, men's and women's get-togethers, a yearly women's overnight retreat and other more impromptu activities, such as going to the movies together, etc. We serve with the TN Children's Home and other outreaches. We stay in touch and support one another by regular email prayer newsletter and by "being there" for one another when going through tough times.
