TRAINING REQUIRED

This year we will be bringing back our partnership with The Point Church and Mac Johnson. This journey was created in partnership with the Brentwood Baptist Missions Ministry to offer a specific atmosphere where students are equipped to serve God at an international location with a church plant. We have designed this journey with students in mind, and have recruited adult leaders who know how to help students serve and grow in this unique missions setting.

Students who are interested in participating MUST:

• Students who have completed Grade 11 or 12 by June 15th (date of this Journey).
• Students who are willing to fully participate in every aspect of the journey (training, prep work, etc).
• Students who meet the specific criteria and expectations outlined in the application.
• Students who will have a current passport by May 31, 2024 (as this is an international trip)

Student Registration

COST: $1,500

• $100 Deposit
  For your application to be considered, the deposit must be paid to complete your application. If your application does not meet the criteria or if your circumstances change prior to March 31st, we will refund the deposit. The deposit will secure a plane ticket for you. If you register past March 31^st  you will be responsible for additional ticket fees should there be any. (A link to make payments online will be provided after you submit your application).

STUDENT TRAINING (ALL REQUIRED)

*dates are tentative and can change, but an email will be sent out if these dates change.

REQUIRED FORMS

2024 Border Crossing Form is required to attend. This form is for students. Parents will need to complete this form for your student to cross the border into Canada.

2024 MEDICAL RELEASE FORM is required to attend. We’re in a new year, which means a new release form, and we’ve gone digital. Please complete the 2024 digital Medical Release Form & email a front/back copy of your insurance card. You can email copies of insurance cards to Anna Brackins at [email protected]. Please turn all required paperwork into the student ministry offices as soon as you can.

If your student has already attended a catalytic event in 2024, we should have it on file.

TO PAY REMAINING BALANCE:

• If you need to pay your remaining balance, you will go to https://brentwood.gomethod.app/login and log into the GoMethod account you created when registering for Vancouver. There you will see events you are registered for on GoMethod. Click on Vancouver and there will be a button that says funding/ pay remaining balance. You will pay your remaining there. Let us know if you have any questions!

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY*

If you find you need to cancel…
Due to trip cost already incurred, there will be no refunds for cancellations after registration closes except under special circumstances as determined by the ministers.
*Does not apply to extenuating circumstances, such as death of a family member or physical illness.
