South Africa Mission Journey

Date

October 10 - 19, 2022

This mission journey team will lead programs similar to Vacation Bible School during a school break in the communities of King of Kings Baptist Church and Living Hope in the Fish Hoek area of Cape Town. Our church family has a long history of ministry and relationships with these partners, and we’re so honored to be serving alongside them again. You may very well know someone in our church family who has been to South Africa with a BBC team…hundreds of our people have served on teams there over the years. Two of our global worker units live and serve in this community.

Please pray in these ways:

  • All logistics to go smoothly, so nothing hinders the work of the team
  • Health and safety for team members and partners in country
  • That God will use the team to join, enhance and encourage the work He is already doing
  • For team members to be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit as He moves both in the team and through the team.
  • Team unity and clear communication despite cultural and language barriers
  • For opportunities to share the gospel

Brentwood Baptist Church mission journeys are a wonderful opportunity to experience overseas missions for the first time–or the fiftieth time! Join a team from our church family sent to join a ministry partner in another country for the purpose of introducing people to Jesus. We go and send because Jesus asks His followers to take the gospel to the nations. (Matthew 28:19-20). Our church has an incredible opportunity to join him in what He’s already doing around the world. Our teams work hand in hand with global workers and ministries who are using all the varied skill sets and experience God has given them to get the gospel to those who haven’t truly heard. Teams usually go for between 5 and 14 days, depending on the ministry need and possibilities.
